Chicago in a Day...

Celebrating 22 years of Marriage ~ we took the day and flew up to Chicago, one of our very favorite cities to visit!  We walked through Millennial Park, shopped the Magnificent Mile, shared some Garrett's Popcorn, and enjoyed a delicious dinner… — Celebrating 22 years of Marriage ~ we took the day and flew up to Chicago, one of our very favorite cities to visit! We walked through Millennial Park, shopped the Magnificent Mile, shared some Garrett's Popcorn, and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bandera (see the following picture for that amazing dessert! We came back with full stomachs and great memories.... can't wait to take the kids with us next time!

Lance ~ holding up "the Bean" (he's under there, I promise ;)  As I walked around this, I was amazed at the city landscape you could see, and that with just a few steps, the entire skyline would change ~ seriously so cool!  We have visited… — Lance ~ holding up "the Bean" (he's under there, I promise ;) As I walked around this, I was amazed at the city landscape you could see, and that with just a few steps, the entire skyline would change ~ seriously so cool! We have visited Chicago many times, but have never taken the chance to go to Millennial Park. It was beautiful ~ especially during this amazing Fall we are having!

And lastly, (I know this isn't a great picture), but we took the train into the city, and back out to the airport ~ a first for us!  We've always rented a car, and the parking/traffic is crazy!  Kinda loved not hassling with that ~ so… — And lastly, (I know this isn't a great picture), but we took the train into the city, and back out to the airport ~ a first for us!
