Each year Lance and I make a lunch date, and visit the BIA Parade of Homes. We both love seeing creative architecture and design ideas, as well as patio and landscaping. This year, the parade was held about 15 minutes North of us, in a fairly new Golf Community called North Star. In previous years, there have been a dozen or so homes to walk through, but it was much smaller with around 6 different builders showing homes this year. New England Homes has consistently been my favorite, so when they were not listed, I was immediately let down, but I have high hopes for next year! Although it was smaller this year, we still had a wonderful time looking through the new homes, and snapping pictures of some of our favorite design ideas. Here are a few I wanted to share...
This media room (and this Fisher Home), was may favorite of the Parade of Homes. Bark walls, along with large pictures of Famous Actors (one the left side of the room), with a Huge TV above a super cool fireplace. Just the kind of room that I could spend hours in watching classic old movies, and of course,
Alternative to traditional bunk beds?? Actually, this is a bonus room above the kitchen area, and was being used as a Media Room. Creative idea ~ and I can see my kids loving the top bunk to hang out and read a good book or write a story.
